Bill Calvin has released his latest book, "Almost Us". This is a very cool collection of visual images (photographs) of apes doing various intriguing and interesting things (behaviors) along with some left brain fare in the form of quips and narratives that explain the action.
Bill is self-publishing this first issue to avoid the two-year delay from the conventional publication route so pass the word to your friends. It is available from Amazon for $14 (or less). You should also check out his website:

There you will find some excellent ape images (hi-res) suitable for desktop wallpaper, refridgerator snapshots or office posters. He's also soliciting any "Ape Tales" from others that might help illuminate future issues.
