The campaigns warm up: Sarah has taken off, showing us a remarkable mix of fun and nastiness; McCain is so boring that BHO has to reach to the Keating Five for any dirt.

There are two kinds of referee: first are those who find sin to be the product of environments; therefore, change environments and sin becomes less likely.

Second are those who believe that each of us makes our world and sin becomes constant, predictable, and repeated across contexts and generations. I believe in Bob Plomin and his army because their notion of nonshared environment fits with the second view; so do lines about the child as father of the man.

Obama's parents did erratic things.

Obama himself did erratic things when an adolescent.

He did erratic things with Bill Ayers and crowd and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

And more erratic things with ACORN and with Rezko.

He's most recently wrapt with Franklin Raines, Jim Johnson, and other scoundrels who both pulled more than 90 million dollars from their activities at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and donated substantial amounts of it to BHO's campaign. Raines and Johnson are part of BHO's advisory team for housing. Their antics cost all of us 800 billion dollars.

William Jefferson Clinton chased skirts while an AR governor. He did so as Prez. BHO will still be a crook, no matter the color of whatever house he occupies.

Thomas Sowell observes many things in his books and describes them extremely well. He has a piece on BHO and friends....

"...Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, William Ayers and Antoin Rezko are not just people who happened to be at the same place at the same time as Barack Obama. They are people with whom he chose to ally himself for years, and with some of whom some serious money changed hands.

"Some gave political support, and some gave financial support, to Obama's election campaigns, and Obama in turn contributed either his own money or the taxpayers' money to some of them. That is a familiar political alliance-- but an alliance is not just an "association" from being at the same place at the same time.

"Obama could have allied himself with all sorts of other people. But, time and again, he allied himself with people who openly expressed their hatred of America. No amount of flags on his campaign platforms this election year can change that."
